I have always been convinced that there must be a way to make money online, I just could never get the formula right.
I have spent so much money and time on different programs and products that I almost gave up. I learnt a bit from some of the programs but there was always something missing - the biggest thing being the money in MY account. Some programs expect you to keep buying more add-ons, otherwise you can't progress. Others were just too vague or too advanced for my level of internet savvy which meant zero income and 100 cups full of frustration for me.

2) Affiliate marketing is a very popular way of making money online
3) Even though affiliate marketing is not the only way, it could be very profitable
In order to make money as an affiliate marketer, you need the following basic ingredients:
1) A Website/landing page
Setting up a landing page or website can be expensive and frustrating. If you are considering a moneymaking course, try and find one that includes a free website - that takes care of step 1.
2) A Good product/products
There are various guidelines of choosing good products. These vary from popularity to the evaluation of how much competition you will have promoting the item. Try and stick to digital products initially, until you get a hang of the process
3) Traffic
This is the hardest part of making money online. You can use various methods including paid advertising or find a free traffic generating system which works for you. Both can be successful. Obviously it is more profitable to stick to the free campaigns. Just bear in mind it may take a bit longer to generate traffic this way.
That is how simple it is. If you are able to formulate a system where you can easily set up a web page, upload great products and generate traffic to this site, you have yourself a goldmine! Once you have done it, you simply repeat this formula and...whalla...money baby yeah!
My final piece of advise:
1) Try to find a program that includes a website
2) Start off with promoting digital products(with not too much competition initially)
3) Choose a program that spend a lot of time on generating traffic to your site
